Ahh, now, gather round, children, and hear the ancient myth of How the Elyndys Got its Name! It was back in early 2001, when I was first delving into GW fandom. I'd discovered MLs, and needed a Yahoo ID so I could join them. My old nick, Glitternova, was taken (probably by me at a previous date, but I had no idea of the password) so I decided to go for something new. Now, at the time I was writing a novel. Tragically enough, it was half-inspired by DBZ, because I used to watch it at the time. (I'll defend myself by saying it didn't really bear any resemblance to it; was just inspired by it. Yes.) The hero was called Adel; the slightly morally-ambiguous one was Corolla; the evil and undoubtedly gay one was Elyndys.

So I tried the name "elyndys" in Yahoo. Unsurprisingly, for a name I'd made up, it wasn't taken, and thus, history was made. :3 (Incidentally, you pronounce it "il-in-dis"
