diamondlife: (Part of Me - shinigamitabris)
Title: Derelict
Fandom: Prince of Tennis
Pairing: D1
Rating/Warnings: PG-13 for offscreen sex.
Notes: Haha, I started this one at Squeefest, based on the prompt object of a piece of broken glass. I guessed I might as well post it, seeing as I'd done it. The place is entirely based on somewhere me and Brendan used to go - a abandoned hamlet called Hades. *grin*

OK, first of the meme-drabbles here! This one is for [livejournal.com profile] giving_ground - D1 still rules my little yellow heart. ♥ It's actually 200 words, so call it a double-drabble. I had to do, like, maths-thinking for this, so forgive me if I've overlooked anything in that department. *cough* I could make a lot more increasingly geeky comments, but me an' [livejournal.com profile] vanillafire are going out to find food, so I shall refrain. ^_~

Enjoy, and please comment if you do! :)

D12? Well, 2+8=10 )

Look at me, awake in the morning! Especially since I went to bed at 5am due to seekrit reasons! I'm a machine, I tells ya! Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] vanillafire for waking me up! *grin*

Help me, I got up cos I was struck with an idea for D1 fic. HELP ME.

Incidentally, I hate when RPs, through no real fault of their own, put me off certain pairings. :/ On the other hand, it more often happens the other way round. ^^' Have also discovered [livejournal.com profile] love_game. Oh, it's SanaYuki heaven!*subsides*

I guess technically I've only really been up for about 16 hours, but for the 3 or so before that I wasn't really that asleep, so I'm not too far behind the normal schedule. ^^'

Still can't decide whether to sleep or not. And my throat hurts. And we have no toilet roll or margarine. But I've got the shivers, which probably means I'm tired. But I can't tell, cos staring at the screen always makes you feel not-tired. And D1 fic, predictably, continues to baffle me and then break my heart, just a little. Mainly in unfathomable ways, because I just can't tell if these endings are happy or not. :/ If anyone has any further suggestions (I got a few already over at [livejournal.com profile] pot_recs) rec me! Rec me hard! *cough*

Also gotta post over at [livejournal.com profile] dinosaur_zone about mpreg (a tribute to [livejournal.com profile] you_got_gay's new challenge! ;) when I gather my shattered wits.

I finished The Vesuvius Club today, too, and it was a most enjoyable read. Like an Edwardian James Bond novel. I guess it was a little bit hackneyed for that very reason, but it was well-paced, had some great characters and just had a really satisfying ending. :D I knew Mark Gatiss wouldn't let me down!
