Spam. Sorry! ^^;;
Jan. 9th, 2006 02:41 amOh yes - we're off to see Brokeback Mountain tomorrow. Sorry, but I remain cynical, having failed to make it through the trailer. ^^' If I cry, you all have the right to, er, do something to me. Like post taunting pictures of Tenimyu actors looking dodgy. Yeah, that'll do it. *confident*
Was browsing friends of comms, and this icon caught my eye:

Dave said, predictably enough, that he'd see it if that were the *real* ending.
Another icon belonging to the same person reminded me that I have library books to take back. ^^;; Thanks, Cthulhu!
I'm going to have to buy volume 2 of Gaiden, aren't I? MISSING CHAPTER! *white knuckles*
I want to be tired, but I'm not. I'm also having punctuation failure, it seems. I hate when that happens.
[Edit] What the hell is TL;DR, and why does it have a stupid semi-colon in it? What's a sockpuppet, for that matter? Aside from the obvious.
Also (and I'm having a hard time suppressing my hilariously late rage here), I fail to see the point in ranting about a fandom you're no longer even part of. You don't like it, why not do the sensible thing? I hate lots of things myself, but... it's my problem. *shrug* No-one else is going to do anything about it, and, to be fair, why should they? Who really thinks someone's big, for what they hate?! No, please. I think the phrase goes "Hate something, change something". Maybe you think you put in all you had to give; well then. Takes me back to my first point - time to move on?
...This is becoming rather more involved than I intended. I'm actually rather proud of some of those insightfully-written sentences, and wish I had a big clique to tell me how cool they sound. XD
I owe much of the sentiment to
laliho, for her tireless efforts in fandoms I know nothing about, but never underestimate her contribution to.

Jan. 7th, 2006 02:21 amHey, Sheff-folks! (And, for that matter, anyone who can get here and wants to hang out with a bunch of geeks! ^^') Anyone fancy going to see Brokeback Mountain on Monday or Tuesday? (Showroom student nights! Or, if we go before 5pm, it's cheap for us non-student types. *cough*)
I feel it's the sort of film we may as well take advantage of, and go as a posse. :3 (And I completely mean it about non-Sheffield residents who might have a shortage of gh3i-loving friends where they live and thus might want to travel to lovely Sheffield and see it with like-minded folk. ;) For that matter, anyone who might have some free time, like uni vacation, right now - wanna come visit? ^^;; I'm, like, seriously bored and would love to give anyone the grand tour - Space Centre, Meadowhall, the lot! Not to mention the fangirling. ^_~)
In fact, have a poll about it:
[Poll #647176]
Let me know when's best for you guys, cos obviously I'm free anytime these days. ^^'
*uses lone film icon, inappropriate as it is* ^^'
