A tiny thing in honour of Hakkai's birthday, as I clearly failed to write any more of that cursed fic, but thought I could share this again.
A while back I linked to this cute image of the Saiyuki boys. But when I showed it to
vanillafire, I got extra value!
The card Hakkai is holding says "oshioki", which means punishment. Appropriate for Hakkai, yes. But down the side, where he's signed his name, he's written "tsuki ni kawatte [Cho Hakkai]". Helen pointed out to me that this is what Sailor Moon says, in Japanese, that when rendered into English becomes "In the name of the moon, I will punish you!"
So yes, whenever I think of Sailor Moon I do now automatically make the jump to Hakkai, and I don't even have to go down the dubious route of cutey moon rods and sailor uniforms.More's the pity.
Well, made me laugh anyway.
