It's, ah, been longer than usual since I posted, but the reason for that (well, aside from returning to work) is my brand new obsession! Yes, aicha has been peddling the good crack again, and I'm going to have to get out the ketchup and eat my words again, because it turns out that I *do* see the point of Johnny's Entertainment after all! This time last week I was a cynic; now I can identify every member of Kat-Tun (and drool accordingly). The most important discovery, however, has been My Boss My Hero. From the title, I'd always assumed it was some kind of office-thing, but it's actually the story of a stupid 27-year-old yakuza who has to go back to high school in order to become the next boss of the gang. The story manages to be both hilarious and touching (I cried! *Me*!), it has so many sparklingly creative moments (Anikinder! XD), the relationships are beautifully done... It also has a nice softcore slashiness too - ( Some (incoherent) spoilers )

It also cannot be denied that Nagase Tomoya, who plays the main character, is incredibly hot. (And, like, older than me. What!) I haven't felt this squeeful in a long time! Which is kind of a shame, cos drama fandoms get no service. *sigh* I'll just satisfy myself with raiding aicha's magazine collection and watching old PVs on YouTube. I'm really enjoying the music I've heard by Tokio (Nagase's band) - I know it's old school, but I like that British-sounding music with rocks guitars in! (Any chance of getting any on in the Showcase? *looks cutely at r_chan* Who can resist disco samurai??

Friends, don't think you're getting away with *not* being forced to watch MBMH at some point. :D And those I don't see often enough, expect DVDs. :D

...One day I'll learn to write comprehensible reviews, that actually make people want to watch the things I'm spazzing about. XD One day...
