It's been great to have [livejournal.com profile] disography staying the last few days! ^__^ Always a pleasure to have your company, so hope to see you again soon. Good luck to you and [livejournal.com profile] schwaschwa with the house move too. ^_^

Also, I am doing as you told us! ^_~ Ewen made this observation in his journal yesterday, and so I reproduce it verbatim here.

Ok, I was browsing the interest lists of LJ today and saw that the top spot on the interests was music. All well and good - but lets face it - dull as shite, right? So in my infinite wisdom I have decided to try to alter this sad state of affairs. To this end I need your help - thats right, yours! I have found a phrase that is not on anyones interest list, and I will, after this post, add it to mine. I expect everyone on my friends list to add it to theirs. I also expect you to ask your friends to do the same. As such a wave of this interest will sweep out and, hopefully, conquer livejournal! The goat is gonna get it! The phrase that you should add to your interests is:

Falsifying Statistics

So add it to your interests! We've already managed to get 48 people on the list, so join the experiment and spread the word! ^_~

In not-as-eccentric stuff, I have a lot of anime stuff to ramble on about. The Sukisho OVA was adorable! Plenty of yummy Shinichirou/Nanami scenes (though nothing too lengthy, darnit) so I feel like I will at some point definitely write some lemons for them. They deserve it. >D I think I'll have a project, maybe for Christmas or something, where I write the [livejournal.com profile] 30_lemons themes but for all different couples. Might combine some, but it'd be cool to be able to give a couple a theme that suits them. Rikkai are so getting the harem theme. Collectively. >D

Also, showed Ewen Patalliro Saiyuki while he was around, and it made me curious again as to its origins. So I did some Googling (my Google fu was strong last night) and found out quite a bit about the original Patalliro, notably at this Aestheticism page. It sounds pretty damn fantastic (MI6 agents! 14 year old bratty ukes! Time travel! Mpreg! ...What?!) but it was originally created in 1979, and made into an anime in 1982. So, not much hope of finding it, then, though apparently the manga is still running (in either Hana to Yume or Melody Monthly - sources varied. -_-). Patalliro Saiyuki takes the characters from Patalliro and puts them in the story of Monkey. I *love* things like that - where you have a stock of characters, and use them in different universes/settings - it's kind of like that in Millennium Actress, a film I adore, and I guess, to an extent it's like that in Saiyuki too. Though the names in Gaiden still confuse me. x_o It has that whole sweeping air of destiny and past lives that I find somewhat seminal. Though I don't always *like* the whole "fated love" thing - I like the idea of the guys falling in love because they, well, can't *help* it - not because they can't *avoid* it. ^_~

...And I appear to be rambling again. Funny how that seems to happen. *cough* In any case, I've been dl'ing Chinese subs cos I just had the craving to watch some more. *cough*

Also, doesn't this song have the best title ever?! XD I love HMHB.

...I think I should've split this into two entries. XD Congratulations if you got this far! ^^'
