1251 BC - A solar eclipse on this date might mark the birth of legendary Heracles at Thebes, Greece. [...dubious, but cool nontheless]
1969 - Monty Python's Flying Circus airs first episode.
1998 - Google is founded.
Two births:
1533 - Queen Elizabeth I of England
1936 - Buddy Holly, American singer [always was proud of this one]
(also Sonny Rollins and, er, Julie Kavner. Hey, I was impressed!)
One death:
2003 - Warren Zevon, American musician and songwriter [I remember that ;_;]
Did you know there's a film called Bruce Lee Strikes Back From Beyond the Grave? Kung fu films have the greatest titles.
I also just ate the most delicious mango in the world. :9
