Happy birthday,
merith!
Started watching Beck last night, and though I only saw one ep, I was in love with Ryuusuke from the opening credits. The OP certainly has the Good Anime Vibe - the animation is very Abenobashi, and the English only burned a little bit. ^^' Koyuki seems like a nice hero too - he, like, does stuff. I like when that happens.
Also watched the first ep of GaoGaiGar, cos I saw the OP at the con. Oh lord. It doesn't even qualify as awful, cos awful is usually entertaining; GGG was just really, really bad. And to say it was made in 1997, looks ancient too. (You know, the more I think about it, the more I realise GW was something of a watershed in the development of Modern Anime style - it may look a bit dated now, but it's still a mile ahead of a lot of things of its time; plus, by the time of EW, everything and everybody looked gorgeous. *_*) GGG did make us want to watch more Earth Defender Mao-chan though. We had all of that, only watched half, and now we don't have it anymore. :/ We've each had a new computer along the way, so it might be lingering on an old HDD. I really should dig mine out sometime...
I think I need nutrition and exercise. :/
