Apr. 6th, 2007 12:41 amHighlights of this week's Honjani were several entertaining shirts:
Yasu - "Drunkard"
Ryo - "Mr Steer" (above a picture of, well, a steer)
Subaru - "Red Balls" (...I'm sure that's what it said)
Hina - "Jim" (for some reason, this amuses me most, even though you see names on English shirts all the time)
Also brief but cute RyoYasu love. Which reminds me, I also wish I could cap some very interesting scenes from the Zukkoke Otoko Michi PV too (haha, it's all very... 'interesting', but in the midst of all the crack there's a lot of Yasu-touching, which I always approve of XD) but the version I have atm is too low quality, unfortunately. I'm sure the HQ one will be out by the time I get up tomorrow...
Just finished Haikei, Chichiue-Sama too. That wasn't an ending, damnit! It was the openest finish I've seen to a J-drama yet, actually, so the thought that they were angling for a special crosses my mind. It certainly would be justified, which is good. I really enjoyed the series though, very well-told and well-paced. It totally wasn't what I expected it to be, but it wove together several different stories very well, I thought. Recommended, if you want a good strong family drama!
Oh, what else was I going to talk about? Umm. Aside from loads of new scans at Vendy's... and I seem to be having an excellent day for Japanese. I was able to make out what I considered a significant amount of the little Q&As in Duet! ...Until I got to Hina's, which for some reason was really really hard. ^^;; Of course, I could be misled, but it felt like I was making sense of a lot of it! ...Though in some places I kind of wish I wasn't, cos at least one of Subaru's answers made it seem like he leads a really tragic life. XD Though he could just be lying again, like usual, cos he's had to tell the same stories so many times. XD
NOTE NO EMO, ONLY CRACK. Aren't you glad...? *awaits mass defriending once again*
