List five songs you absolutely can't stand from five artists you adore. Then, tag five people to see what songs they hate from the artists they love.
I had to go back in time to do this one, lol, cos I've not been into "bands" per se for years now. I used to be very much, though, so I was able to have a good go! ^_~
1. The Beatles - Yesterday. There's probably another song of theirs I dislike more, but Yesterday is just incredibly, incredibly dull, and irritatingly overrated. I think I once heard it's the most-played song on radio ever, or something, and it really doesn't deserve to be. z_z
2. David Devant & His Spirit Wife - Sex Maniacs. With a title like that, I was expecting so much! But it's a very boring, slow song, with not much going for it at all. It doesn't fill me with rage, but it's so disappointing.
3. Manic Street Preachers - Mausoleum. I know this isn't meant to be an easy song to listen to, but I've always found it moribund and musically bereft, too. It's just unpleasant, to me.
4. The Monkees - That Was Then, This is Now. Bands who have broken up should never, ever reform to produce new songs. Ever. Enough said. x_x
5. Jimi Hendrix - If 6 was 9. Too... wibbly. XD That's my main complaint about a lot of jazz, is when it wibbles too much, and Hendrix suffered from excessive wibbling too, at times. I much prefer a melody, and/or harmonies; I tend to prefer tight music, y'know? (Bold as Love, on the other hand, is my favourite Hendrix track and one of my favourite songs ever. Man, this brings back memories! ^^')
Not tagging cos it always feels like favouritism. ^^' Do it if you wanna! ^_~
