Dec. 11th, 2008 12:29 amI posted Christmas cards today! And today was the last posting recommended date for the USA, Canada and Japan, so they might even - gasp! - get there on time! :O
And here's a few random songs I'm loving at the moment, just via YouTube cos I don't have any other means right now:
Wiley ft. Daniel Merriweather - Ca$h in my Pocket I know I probably shouldn't like Wiley, but somehow, Wearing my Rolex was just so infectious... It was *everywhere* when it came out, and in the end I found myself bobbing along to it.
Weezer - Greatest Man That Ever Lived How tragic is it that I took particular notice of the relative pronoun usage in that sentence? -_-' Actually, all Weezer's new songs have been pretty A+. Troublemaker was awesome too.
The Hold Steady - Stay Positive For some reason, I always think I want to recommend this song to Subaru. (Incidentally, there's something incredibly cute, or something at least, about Yasu being into Elvis Costello recently. ^^' And Subaru's into reggae... he should listen to more ska, hahaha! Like the rather seminal Ali Baba, by John Holt. I knew that song reminded me of Man Next Door, by Massive Attack! That's because that's a cover of one of his songs! Lol I always think things sound like things and people look like people. Sometimes it's not totally random! XD)
That cup of tea tasted a bit funny. D: Hope the milk was alright... but usually if it's not, you know about it as soon as it goes in the cup. :/
