(no subject)

Fell asleep in front of Most Haunted earlier. It's just like old times~! :D

Stumbled on the motherload of Honjani/Urajani/SukaJ/EVERYTHING eps, so have been raiding it feverishly ever since. :D So I thought I might as well do some tiny write-ups, in case anyone wants to know where the good crack is. ^_^ Sorry, I'm not providing caps cos my capping abilities suck as much as my attempts at everything else graphical. ^^' But for what it's worth, here's the first three:

20050809 Yoga

K8 try ordinary yoga, “hot yoga” (lots of sweating) and underwater yoga (yay nudity!).
No Ryo. In his absence, Hina takes over being annoyingly good at everything (though he’s not as great at the water stuff). Yoko is amusingly bad.
No Skull-chan, but two out of two navel piercings spotted! And Yasu has his toenails painted.
Rating: 7/10 (mm, bendy. Or not, if you’re Yoko.)


20060509 Pet photography

Ohkura, Yoko and Ryo are the Dog Team; the others are the Cat Team. The Dog Team seem to be having more fun, especially as Hina gets a bit mauled and Subaru doesn’t get too near the cats and keeps sniffling like he’s allergic. Yoko and Ryo’s photos are freakish! Incidentally, the photos they take are the ones on the wall in the Okan café.
Rating: 7/10 (not as good as it should’ve been, but still cute.)


20060926 Calligraphy

Ryo, of course, does well; so do Maru and Hina (who, incidentally, also looks really hot in that shirt). Yoko can’t write “夢”. It’s interesting seeing some of their choices of final kanji: Subaru writes “声” (voice, though he seemingly takes two attempts); Yoko writes “侯”, the first kanji of his real name. Yasu and Ohkura’s just look weird.
They also perform Heat is On in those gold and tartan and roadkill outfits.
Rating: 6/10 (I enjoyed it, but I’m a geek.)

All these eps were very watchable and entertaining right through, though not *the* best things I've ever seen. Tomorrow I'll cover the rugby eps. They're... something else. >D

I can't believe it's only Tuesday. =_=

To-do list for the weekend:

- persuade yuki_scorpio to watch My Boss My Hero O:)
- cajole giving_ground (and yuki_scorpio too >D) into sitting through some Kanjani8 stuff
- get self caught up on Saiunkoku
- raid Japan Centre for ridiculously overpriced magazines as usual

My dinner today failed. :/ First, I completely didn't realise the chilled canneloni things I bought in Waitrose required two kinds of sauce to go on them. -_- I didn't have anything else to cook, so ordered kung po duck. When it came, it was just battered duck in thick sauce with water chestnuts, which I hate. >E Plus, it was so sweet it made me feel quite sickly. Grr. My favourite Chinese takeaway closed down - I'm cursed with restaurants! I've so far managed to shut down at least 5! And even La Mancha has all changed now! ;_; Any time I say I really like somewhere, it inevitably disappears. It's terribly inconvenient.
