In case you really wanted to know, I spent a significant portion of today reading a manga about talking penises. Heheh, I'm very grateful to the always reliably-naughty [livejournal.com profile] moffit (and her friend!) for supplying me with it! :D *lick* I also smiled when I saw my old buddy [livejournal.com profile] maisieuphong had a hand in the scanlation. Aww, bless; nice to know she's been doing well for herself. XD There's also a drama CD for it. The cast includes the ubiquitous Okiayu Ryoutarou (somehow, I can guess who he plays... I bet it's the megane-boy! o.o) and Sakurai Takahiro. ^^' Man, I need more (pretty) yaoi manga. *angling for recs* Am still determined to get Antique Bakery, too. It apparently stars a "magically gay" young man called Ono, who is a "world-class pastry chef and outed playboy". His romantic interest is someone called Tachibana (they're everywhere these days!), who he has "just found a new position under". Sadly the art looks a bit horrible, but how can I resist the gay pastry chefs and middle-weight boxing champions (yes, there's one of them in there randomly too). Like I say: need more yaoi manga. XD

Also, many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] zerotwofan for supplying me with the last ep of Gankutsuou! :D I caved and watched it, and here's what I thought. )

Lol, I sure know how to make myself appear schizo, don't I? ^^;;

Very random, but this is addressed to PoT people on my list (even if we don't speak often, please offer your opinion! :D). The way I see it, as a fandom n00b, the big wave of fandom lasted from the end of 2003 (I know I was hearing about it from maybe August or September, I guess) to... about September/October, 2004. I keep wondering why there was a seemingly-sudden exodus from fandom; what was happening in the show then that turned people off? Cos, in my own thinking, it only started to get rubbish towards the end of Jr Senbatsu - ie, at about ep 142, or something, and that's not that long ago in sub terms, is it? I guess those eps were coming out about... November/December? I personally love Jr Senbatsu, because it's a collection of a lot of my favourite rivals (including some great Kamio moments! ;), has some classic doubles combinations and the tennis is fairly sensible. Plus it has the formation of the delightfully random Pull Tab to Can, but that's sheer crack. *grin* So, according to popular opinion, what went wrong? Where and why did people decide they weren't going to bother anymore? I'm just curious... Please help me in my study of fandom sociology! ^_~

PS Please pass this on if you think anyone else might have something they want to say! :D
